Financial Awards
DSAB Financial Awards are offered to provide enrichment and intervention assistance for individuals living with Down syndrome: Financial assistance is offered for individuals with Down syndrome to participate in extracurricular or life skill development activities. Program examples include, but are not limited to, the following: camps, tutoring, dance classes, art classes, karate, gymnastics, life preparatory skills training, swimming lessons and more.
DSAB also provides emergency financial assistance for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. They are available to individuals who are unable to obtain help through other social service channels and need help solving an immediate problem.
All financial awards are subject to the DSAB Financial Award Policy. Determination is not based on race, color, creed, sexual orientation or marital status. Recipients must live in Brevard County. Each applicant is eligible for a maximum of $1,000 per calendar year (January-December) for financial awards. Funds will be disbursed based on availability on a first come, first served basis, if DSAB Financial Award Guidelines are met. Please allow 14 days to process the application.

Through our community activities, events, and funding for our local families, we are striving to build a supportive culture of awareness, acceptance, and advocacy throughout Brevard County.
DSAB is fully funded by generous donations from local partners in advocacy and people like you! All of our funds stay in Brevard County to directly support individuals with Down syndrome and their families living here.
